OOTD- Sugar and spice!

The irony in this dresses name is unbelievably crazy!!  Yesterday while we were at church my son was being naughty and so I took him out for a time out.  I was holding him on my lap in a time out when he started yelling "Mommy I have to pee!"  Next thing I knew I had warm liquid filling my lap, I was so irritated... this kid has been potty trained for a year and here he is peeing on me!!!  Well next thing I did was drag him back into church grabbed the car keys and raced home to change.  We quickly changed and were back at church in 10 minutes (we live really close!)  Anyways I feel a little pain in my heart seeing these pictures because I love this dress and was really excited to wear it!  Oh well, I will have to go round 2 with this guy in the next few weeks!!!
Dress Anthro: my next Shirtdress
Belt Anthro: similar here for cheap!
Shoes Linea Paolo: similar here
Necklace Anthro: River Bow

My necklace is SOOOO cute, thanks to my sweet sister who sent it to me in the mail, and I LOVE it!!!  Thanks!!  This is my replacement necklace for the one my son broke (and peed on me) and I have yet to fix!

  1. Oh that dress is SO gorgeous on you and PERFECT for fall!

Although I suppose it feels less gorgeous when covered in pee.

At least you got great pictures before that little incident. :)

  2. You look incredible. I swear you can pull of every single color of the rainbow. I'm sorry you got peed on. I'm terrified of potty training... I really need to get on that.

And I'm super sad that necklace is no longer available. Because I want it REALLY, REALLY badly. It makes you look like a gorgeous gift. Which, obviously, you are. :)

  16. Boys! Isn't it enough that they mess up their own clothes?! And what is up with misbehaving at church, don't they know I have an image to protect as a NICE family while we are there - lol, lol. This is really a story I could relate to. And it's only Monday and we can laugh about it already ;)

  19. I'm sorry to hear about the little dress mishap. At least it was a machine washable dress, right? And how great that you were still able to make it back to church! BTW, the J. Crew ruffled cardigan in your previous post is perfection! Those ruffles really dress up a neutral cardigan!

  20. This dress looks like it was MADE for you. The colors are just incredible with your gorgeous hair. The mishap in church is a bummer because of the inconvenience and stress of that moment but I am sure once you have the dress back in wearable condition you will be giggling about it with your husband.
